POMMES ALLUMETTES


Ingredients

100 gm Potatoes

1 tsp Salt

Fat - for fry 


Method

1. Wash potatoes, peel and rewash. 
2. Trim on all sides to give straight edges.
3. Cut into slices 5 cm x 0.5 cm 
4. Cut the slices into straws 5 cm x 0.5 cm 0.5 cm 
5. Wash well and dry in a cloth. 
6. Fry in hot deep fat till golden brown and crisp. 
7. Season with salt, serve on a dish paper in a vegetable dish.
