 CHICKEN CHOWDER


Ingredients

For 4

1 no Onion

40 gm Chicken fat

30 gm Refined flour

200 ml Chicken stock

200 ml  milk 

100 gm Potatoes

100 gm Cooked chicken

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp Pepper

15 gm tomatoes

Method 

1. Peel and slice onions and potatoes. 
2. Heat fat. Fry onions. Add flour and stir well. 
3. Add chicken stock and potatoes. 
4. Cook until soft. Add chicken and milk. Cook for 5 minutes longer. 
5. Season and serve hot.

NB. For Chicken Barley Chowder, add 30 gm  of barley and cook till tender before adding the potatoes.
