Kashmiri Phirni

Ingredients 

50 gm Sooji ( White Rawa)

75 gm Sugar 

500 ml Milk 

Saffron - a pinch 

5 nos - Crushed Cardamom or Cardamom powder

Method 

1. Soak the saffron in warm milk and keep it aside 

2. Soak the rawa in water ( fill the water till sooji level, it will avoid the lumps 

3. Boil the milk then add the soaked sooji into it 

4. Add the sugar, saffron and cardamom then leave it to cook till thick consistency  

5. Cool it and refrigerate it for 40 mins then serve it with chopped nuts and silver paper
