Bardoli ki khichdi

 Ingredients 

1 cup Rice 

1/2 cup red gram (toor dal)

1 no Large potato

1/2 cup green peas 

1/2 no mango ( Raw) 

1 no green chilli

1 no onion (chopped)

1 tbsp Ginger ( chopped)

1 tbsp Greenchillies ( chopped)

1 tsp turmeric 

1 tsp cumin 

1/4 tsp asafoetida 

1 tsp chilli powder 

1 tbsp Ghee 

1 tbsp coriander leaves 

Method 

1. Wash the rice and dal then soak it for 30 mins 

2. Heat the ghee or oil in vessel or pressure cooker then add the cumin, greenchillies, ginger, and chopped onion, saute it well

3. Add the chopped potato, green peas, turmeric, grated mango and chilli powder then saute it well 

4. Pour the 1 : 3 water then leave to boil, then add the soaked rice and dal 

5. stir it occasionally then make a dum cooking or by pressure cooker method 

6. serve it with Raita
