Ingredients
For Boiling
1 cup pineapple
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 cup Water
1/2 tsp Salt
For Grinding
1/2 coconut (grated)
1 no greenchilly
1/2 inch ginger
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
3 nos Garlic
1 tbsp Jaggery
1/4 cup Curd
For Tempering ( tadka )
1 tbsp Coconut Oil
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
10 nos Curry leaves
2 nos Red chillies
Method
1. Heat the water then add salt, turmeric and add chopped pineapples leave it to boil for 10 mins
2. Grind the coconut, greenchilly, cumin, ginger, mustard and garlic to make fine paste
3. Add the boiled pineapple and paste into it then cook again for 5 mins
4. Add the jaggery and check the salt then switch off the fire and leave it to cool
5. finally add the whisked curd in cool pineapple
6. For tadka, heat the coconut oil then add the mustard seeds, curry leaves and red chillies, fry for a minute
7. Pour it over the pachadi and serve with meals
