Veg Samosa


Ingredients





For dough





200 gm Refined flour





50gm Rice flour





50 ml oil





1 tsp Salt





1/2 tsp Sesame Seeds





1/2 tsp Ajwain seeds





water - to mix





For Masala





300 gm Boiled Potatoes





2 tbsp Chopped Carrot





2 tbsp Fresh green peas





2 no chopped Onions





3 nos chopped green chillies





1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste





1/ 2 tbsp Garam masala powder





1/ 4 tbsp Chilli powder





1/4 tbsp Cumin powder





1/2 tsp turmeric powder





1/2 tbsp Salt





30 ml Oil





1 tbsp Chopped Coriander leaves





Method





  1. 1. Keep the potatoes to boil
  2. 2. Take the refined flour and rice flour in vessel, mix it with salt, sesame seeds, Ajwain and oil
  3. 3. Gradually pour the water and make stiff dough
  4. 4. Heat the oil then fry chopped onion, green chillies
  5. 5. Add the ginger garlic paste then saute it well
  6. 6. Add the chilli powder, garam masala, cumin, salt and turmeric powder
  7. 7. Switch off the stove and add the mashed potatoes and chopped coriander leaves then mix it thoroughly
  8. 8. Divide the dough into small ball then roll out into oval shape and cut into 2
  9. 9. Roll it like a cone shape then stuff the masala and close the edges
  10. 10. Fry the samosa in medium flame till golden brown colour
  11. 11. Serve it with Sweet chutney
