Brioche


Ingredients





250 gm Refined flour





25 gm Sugar





5 gm Yeast





1/4 tsp Salt





20 gm Fat





1/2 no Egg





150 ml Milk or water





Method





  1. Soak the yeast in luke warm water with 1/2 tsp powdered sugar, keep it aside
  2. Mix refined flour with all ingredients, except milk
  3. Gradually pour the milk and make a smooth dough
  4. Leave it for fermentation for 15 mins
  5. Divide the dough into 50 g and 5 gm pieces
  6. Place the large ball in greased tray, the small round should be placed on large
  7. Leave it for proof ( 10 mins), then egg wash on top
  8. To make small cuts on bottom dough with knife or scissor
  9. Bake it 200 C for 15 mins
  10. Remove it from tray and cool it
