Ingredients
250 gm Refined flour
25 gm Sugar
5 gm Yeast
1/4 tsp Salt
20 gm Fat
1/2 no Egg
150 ml Milk or water
Method
- Soak the yeast in luke warm water with 1/2 tsp powdered sugar, keep it aside
- Mix refined flour with all ingredients, except milk
- Gradually pour the milk and make a smooth dough
- Leave it for fermentation for 15 mins
- Divide the dough into 50 g and 5 gm pieces
- Place the large ball in greased tray, the small round should be placed on large
- Leave it for proof ( 10 mins), then egg wash on top
- To make small cuts on bottom dough with knife or scissor
- Bake it 200 C for 15 mins
- Remove it from tray and cool it
