Spinach Puris






Ingredients





250 gm Wheat flour





½ bunch Spinach puree





Water – to mix





Salt – to taste





20 ml oil





Oil – for fry





Method





  1. Sieve flour and add spinach puree, water, oil and salt to prepare a dough, knead well, set aside for ½ hour
  2. Divide the dough into even sized balls  
  3.  Roll out puris evenly with rolling pin
  4. Fry puris in enough oil, gently pressing down with a ladle in acircular motion
  5. When puffed then turn over
  6. Lightly brown on both sides take it and drain the oil, place it over absorbent paper and serve hot
