Pumpkin Halwa






Ingredients





200 gm Pumpkin





50 gm Sugar





250 ml Milk





25 ml Ghee





1 tbsp Cashew nuts





1 tbsp Raisins





4 nos Cardamoms





Food red colour  (Optional)





Method





  1. Wash, peel and grate the pumpkin
  2. Dry the excess moisture in kadai by slow fire  
  3.  Pour the milk into pumpkin cook till dry , stirring all the time
  4. Add cardamom powder and sugar into the pumpkin, stir it continuously to make it like halwa
  5. Fry cashew nuts and raisins in ghee, pour it over the pumpkin halwa, then mix it well and serve
