Ingredients
200 gm Pumpkin
50 gm Sugar
250 ml Milk
25 ml Ghee
1 tbsp Cashew nuts
1 tbsp Raisins
4 nos Cardamoms
Food red colour (Optional)
Method
- Wash, peel and grate the pumpkin
- Dry the excess moisture in kadai by slow fire
- Pour the milk into pumpkin cook till dry , stirring all the time
- Add cardamom powder and sugar into the pumpkin, stir it continuously to make it like halwa
- Fry cashew nuts and raisins in ghee, pour it over the pumpkin halwa, then mix it well and serve
