Potato Tikki


Ingredients





500 gm Potatoes





100 gm Bread





1 no Onion





2 nos Green chillies





Salt  to taste





50 ml Oil





Chutney





¼ Bunch Coriander leaves





1 no Onion





1 no Green chilli





1 wedge Lime





Salt to taste





Method





  1. Boil potatoes till done, peel and mash well
  2. Soak bread in a little water, squeeze out moisture
  3. Chop green chillies, coriander leaves and onions
  4. Mix together prepared ingredients and salt
  5. Form into balls.
  6. Press centre and put a small quantity of prepared chutney in centre
  7. Seal edges. Shapes into round and shallow fry  




Chutney





  1. Wash and drain coriander leaves
  2. Grind together onions, coriander leaves, green chillies and salt.
  3. Add lime juice to taste and mix well
