Chicken Khorma


Ingredients





1/2 kg Chicken





1/2 no Coconut





3 tbsp Poppy seeds





3 tbsp Cashewnuts





2 nos Red chillies





1 no Green chilli





1 tbsp Coriander leaves





3 nos Onion





Salt - to taste





200 ml Curd





4 tbsp Oil





Method





  1. Clean the chicken
  2. Grind together coconut, poppy seeds, Cashew nuts, red chillies, green chilli and half the onions
  3. Heat oil and lightly saute remaining onions
  4. Add ground ingredients and fry for a few mins
  5. Add chicken fry for further 5 mins
  6. Add Salt to taste and beaten curd, cook over low fire till done
