Chana Dal Payasam


Ingredients





50 gm Split Bengal gram





100 ml Water





½ no Coconut





100 gm Jaggery





4 nos Cardamoms





20 ml Ghee





1 tbsp Cashew nuts





Method





  1. Wash the dal and cook till mashed consistency
  2. Add jaggery to dal cook for 10 mins
  3. Extract coconut milk then pour it over dal
  4. Cook till it thick
  5. Add cardamom powder and add fried cashewnuts with ghee
  6. Serve it hot.
