Bhindi Fried in Batter


Ingredients

200 gm Ladies finger

2 nos red chillies

¼ tsp Peppercorns

¼ tsp Turmeric powder

2 cm Cinnamon

Salt – to taste

Batter

2 tbsp Bengal Gram flour

Salt – a pinch

Soda Bicorbonate – a pinch

Oil – to fry

Method

  1.  Wash and wipe the ladies finger with a cloth and slit
  2. Grind the chillies, Peppercorns, turmeric, cinnamon and salt
  3. Stuff ladies fingers with ground masala
  4. Prepare a thick batter with gram flour, water, salt and baking soda
  5. Heat oil
  6. Dip Ladies fingers in batter and deep fry
  7. Remove and drain on absorbent paper
