Ingredients
150 gm (4 nos) – potatoes
½ no coconut
5 cm Ginger
4 nos garlic
2 nos Green chillies
1tbsp Coriander leaves
2 nos Onions
2 nos Tomatoes
1 tsp fennel
3 nos cardamoms
1 no cinnamon stick
4 nos cloves
5 tbsp Oil
½ no Lime
Salt to taste
Method
- Peel potatoes and cut into cubes
- Grind together of ginger, garlic, greenchillies,onion and fennel
- Heat the oil in kadai, add the cinnamon, cloves and bay leaf
- Add the sliced onion sauté it and make lite brown colour
- Add the ground masala, sauté it to reduce the raw flavor
- Put the sliced tomatoes and salt mix it well
- Add the potatoes and I cup of hot water then leave it to boil for 10 mins
- Take out from fire and pour the lime juice, mix it well and serve with pulao or roti
