Steamed Dry Fruit Sponge / steamed dry fruit pudding



Ingredients

125 gm Flour

125 gm Sugar

125 gm Butter / Margarine / Vanaspathi

2 nos  Eggs

1 tbsp Cherry

1 tbsp Tutti fruity

1 tbsp Raisin

2 gm Baking powder

1/2 tsp Garam masala

Nutmeg - a Pinch

50 ml milk 

Method

1. Mix the fat and 50% of sugar and make it a cream

2. Beat the egg and balance 50 % of sugar in separate bowl and mix it with cream

3. Add the chopped dry fruits and mix it gently

4. Pour the batter into the separate greased bowl then cover it with Aluminium foil and steam it for 1 hour

5. Take it out and leave it,10 mins for cooling then serve
