Masala Dal


Ingredients





100 gm Split red gram ( Thoor Dal )





2 nos Green chillies





1 tbsp Coriander leaves





1/4 tsp Turmeric powder





1/4 Coconut





1/2 tsp Mustard seeds





1/2 tsp Cumin





3 nos Tomatoes





4 tbsp oil





Method





  1. Clean and boil the gram until mashing consistency, then mash it well
  2. Add Clit greenchillies, turmeric, salt and chopped tomatoes
  3. Grate and grind the coconut to a fine paste
  4. When tomatoes are cooked and ground coconut
  5. Heat oil in a pan then add the mustard seeds and cumin to make temper then pour it over dal
  6. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot
