Ingredients
200 gm Refined flour
1 no Egg
50 Gm fat
1/2 tsp Salt
20 gm Almond
20 gm Cashew nuts
100 gm Powdered Sugar
100 gm Butter
1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
Water - to mix
Method
- Mix chopped almonds, cashew nuts, powdered sugar, cardamom powder and butter
- Sieve flour the flour with salt
- Mix with beaten egg and water
- Mix it well to make smooth dough
- keep it rest for 1/2 an hour
- Divide the dough and roll each piece very thin on a floured into square shape
- place one square on a tray and brush melted butter, sprinkle some fillings and place the second square on top. Continue making 3 layers
- Press the edges, so that fillings does not come out during baking
- Wash the top with water and bake at 180 degree Celsius for 15 mins
- Brush the sugar syrup on top then cool it
