Ingredients
250 gm Refined flour ( Maida )
1 tbsp Ghee
For the filling
50 gm sugar powder
1 tsp Cardamom powder
25 gm Cashew nuts
10 gm Raisins
1/2 coconut ( Grated )
1 tsp Poppy seeds
4 tsp Oil
Method
- Roast and crush cashew nuts
- Sieve the flour, Pour melted ghee and knead to a smooth dough by adding water
- cover and leave it for an hour. mix all the ingredients for filling
- Make small balls from the dough. roll them into thin circular
- Place 1 tbsp of filling in center, fold one edge into other end together
- Make sure that the edges are closed to avoid spilling while frying
- Heat oil and fry till turn golden brown
- Store in an airtight container
