Jam Bun


Ingredients





200 gm Refined flour





100 gm Fat





100 gm Sugar





1 no Egg





1/2 tsp Baking Powder





5 gm Milk powder





1 Pinch salt





10 ml Water





2 ml Raspberry essence





For Topping





1 tbsp Jam





1/2 tsp Cornflour





Method





  1. Cream the fat and sugar then add the egg into it to make a fluffy cream
  2. Add the salt and water then mix it well
  3. Slowly add the flour and baking powder into the cream and make it soft dough
  4. Roll it over the floured table and break into small pieces. Round each piece and place it on a clean tray
  5. Make a shallow hole in the centre of each piece and put a dot of jam ( it should be mixed with a little corn flour )
  6. Bake it at 175 degree Celsius for 15 mins
