Chhas ka Shorba/ Butter milk soup


Ingredients





1/2 buttermilk





2 tbsp coconut paste





1/4 tsp turmeric powder





1/2 tsp mustard seeds





Curry leaves - few





2 tbsp Coriander leaves





Salt - to taste





1/2 tsp coriander powder





1/2 tsp Chilli powder





For paste





4 nos Peppercorns





1/2 tsp cumin





2 cloves Garlic













Method





  1. Mix buttermilk, coconut paste, salt and paste
  2. Heat 2 tbsp of oil, add mustard seeds, when they pop, add turmeric powder, curry leaves
  3. Pour the buttermilk then mix it well and simmer for 5 mins( don't allow to boil )
  4. Check seasoning, garnish with coriander leaves then serve hot
