Ingredients
500gm Tomatoes
6 nos cloves
8 nos Peppercorn
2 nos Bay leaves
1/2 inch Cinnamon
3 gm Kasoori methi
salt - to taste
5 gm chilli powder
10 gm Ginger
5 gm Garlic
Mint leaves - few
1 tbsp Coriander leaves
1/4 tsp Sugar
1 piece Lime
Method
- clean and cut the tomatoes and place with all the ingredients, ecpext lime juice and half the coriander leaves in the heavy bottomed pan with sufficient water
- Bring to boil and simmer for about an hour
- Whisk with a whisker to crush the tomatoes
- When the stock little thick, remove from fire and strain through a muslin cloth
- Adjust seasoning and add the lime juice
- serve piping hot, garnished with chopped green coriander leaves
