Ingredients
1 kg Baby Potatoes
1 1/2 tsp Cumin
1 1/2 tsp Chilli powder
1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
1 tsp Turmeric powder
1/2 tsp Garam masala
1/2 tsp Coriander powder
1/4 tsp Asafoedita
2 nos Cloves
1 tsp Fennel powder
2 nos Cardamom
1 no Bay leaf
1 stick Cinnamon
100 gm Beaten curd
1 sprig Coriander leaves
2 tbsp Crushed cashew nuts
30 ml Oil
Salt - to taste
Method
- Wash, peel and pick the potatoes with a fork
- Heat oil and fry them to golden brown, then reserve
- Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan and fry the cumin, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon and bay leaf
- Add all the masala powders, asafoetida, with Curd and crushed nuts
- Close with tight lid and put it in dum for 10 mins
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves
