Afgani Kheer


Ingredients





200 gm Dates





2 litres Milk





100 gm Paneer





5 gm Cardamom





20 gm Khoya ( Pal khowa )





20 ml Ghee





100 gm Sugar





Rose essence - Few drops





50 gm Chopped Nuts





Method





  1. Cut the dates into small slices
  2. Grate the paneer
  3. Boil the milk it is reduced to 3/4, and then add dates and paneer into milk then leave it to cook
  4. Add sugar and cook till the kheer is fairly thick, add the chopped nuts
  5. Add ground cardamom and rose essence and serve hot with garnish
