Roman Apple Cake
Ingredients
250 gm Castor sugar
100 gm vanaspati or Margarine
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1 no Egg
125 ml Milk
300 gm Refined flour
1 tsp Baking powder
700 gm Apple (diced )
Method
1. Scale all the ingredients
2. Cream the fat along with the sugar on a working table or vessel
3. Slowly start adding the eggs, a little at a time, creaming well
4. Once all the eggs are added into the creaming mixture, take the mixture into a basin
5. Add the milk into the cake mixture followed by the diced apples and the cinnamon powder, mix it with a whisk
6. Fold in the flour sieved with the baking powder. pour the mixture into lined cake moulds and bake at 180℃ till done
7. Once it is baked cool the cake on a wire rack and serve as required.
