 Poha / veg poha 


Ingredients 

2 cup Pressed Rice (poha) 

1 tsp Mustard seeds 

1 tbsp Bengal gram 

3 nos Red chillies 

1 no onion 

1 tsp turmeric powder 

1 tsp salt 

2 nos Tomatoes chopped 

1/4 grated coconut 

30 ml Oil 


Method 

1. Soak the pressed rice into the water for 5 mins then strain the water and keep it aside 



2. Heat the oil then add the mustard seeds, bengal gram, curry leaves, red chillies and chopped onion into it then saute it well




3. Onion turn light brown colour then add 1 tsp of turmeric powder  and chopped tomatoes then saute it well 



4. Add the grated coconut and soaked pressed rice mix it well and check the salt  




5. Serve it with chutney for breakfast
