Danish Butter Cookies
Preparation Time : 30 mins
Yield : 60 nos ( 1/2 kg)
Ingredients
125 gm Butter
125 gm Castor Sugar
1 no Egg
1 gm Salt
2 gm Vanilla powder or Vanilla essence
250 gm Refined Flour
Method
1. Measure all the ingredients
2. Soften the butter on the working table
3. Add the sugar to the butter and start creaming it
4. Slowly start adding the egg a little at a time with the vanilla essence in it
5. Once all the egg is added and the mixture is creamed well, fold in the flour
6. Rest the dough in the chiller for 30 mins and cut them into desired shapes and place them on greased trays.
7. Glaze the top of the cookie with water and sprinkle castor sugar on top of the cookie and then bake them
8. Bake them till light brown colour at 175℃
9. Cool them and store it in air tight container.
