Veg Momo / momo/ Soy chunk Momo
Ingredients
For Dough
200 gm Refined flour
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper powder
For Stuffing
1 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Chopped Celery
50 gm Chopped Cabbage
100 gm Soy Chunk
4 nos Greenchillies
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper powder
Oil - to fry
Method
1. Take Refined flour, salt and pepper powder in one vessel mix it together, pour the water to make a dough and keep it aside
2. Boil the soy chunk for 15 mins, squeeze out the water then grind it with greenchillies
3. Heat the oil then add the chopped celery and chopped cabbage, saute it well then add the ground soy chunk, check the salt & pepper seasoning
4. Roll the dough and cut it into even size balls,then rolled it into round shape
5. Keep the filling in center then make wet in all corners then close it by zig-zag method
6. Another design made it like a shell
7. steam it in idly vessel or steamer
8. Serve it with Garlic sauce or Tomato Sauce
