Veg Khurma / vegetable Khurma/ वेजिटेबल खुरमा / வெஜ் குருமா 


Ingredients

For Paste 

2 nos Onion 

15 nos Garlic

2 tbsp Ginger 

1 no Cinnamon 

3 nos Cloves

1 tbsp Fennel 

1 tbsp Poppy seeds 

1 cup Roasted gram

1/4 Coconut 

For Gravy ( khuruma) 

1 no Cinnamon 

3 nos Cardamom 

1/2 tbsp Fennel 

2 nos Onion 

4 nos Green chillies 

3 nos Tomatoes 

1/2 tsp Turmeric powder 

1/2 tbsp Chilli powder 

 3 nos  Carrot 

100 gm Beans 

50 gm Green peas 

1 no potatoes 

Mint leaves 

Coriander leaves 



1. Heat the oil and roast the onion,ginger garlic, cinnamon, cloves, fennel, cardamom, coconut, roasted gram and poppy seeds  then make it paste 







2. For making gravy, heat the oil then add cinnamon, cardamom and fennel, then saute the onion and green chillies 




3. Onion turn light brown colour, then add the turmeric and chilly powder into it  


4. Add the tomatoes and salt then saute it well till mashing consistency 


5. Add the cuts of vegetables and pour 1 cup of water then leave it to boil 



6. After vegetables boiled then add the ground paste into it, if need Pour enough water for the gravy 




7. Finally add the chopped mint leaves and coriander leaves in gravy to enrich the flavor 


8. Serve it with Chapatti, paratha and other Indian roti's
