Mutton Gravy for Chappati and roti / மட்டன் கிரேவி - step by step procedure with pictures / simple and easy mutton gravy

Mutton Gravy 


Ingredients used 

For Marination 

1/2 kg Mutton

1 cup Curd

1 tbsp kashmiri chilly powder 

1/2 tsp Garam masala 

1/2 tbsp Cumin powder 

1 tbsp Coriander powder 

1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste 

small bunch Mint leaves 

For Gravy 

2 nos Cinnamon

5 nos Cardamom 

2 nos Bay leaf 

2 nos Star anise 

3 nos Onions 

5 nos Tomatoes 

1 tbsp Kashmiri chilly powder 

2 tbsp Coriander powder


Method 

1. Marinate the mutton with curd, chilly powder, garam masala, coriander powder, salt, mint leaves,ginger garlic paste


2. Mix it well and leave it for 1 hour

3. Heat the oil in cooking pan and fry the whole garam masala like cinnamon, bay leaf, star anise and cardamom

4.After that add the sliced onion and make it light brown colour

5.Add the sliced tomatoes and salt then saute it well 

6.Add the masalas like kashmiri chilli powder, and coriander powder, saute it well 




8.Marinated mutton add into the onion tomato masala then mix it well for 5 mins, after that pour 3 cups of hot water.


9. Close the lid and leave 5 whistle, after that switch off the stove wait for 10 mins


10. Serve it with chapati
