Eggless Chocolate Sponge

 Egg-less Chocolate Sponge



Preparation time : 1 Hour

Ingredients 

200 gm Refined flour ( maida)

40 gm Cocoa Powder 

140 gm butter

170 gm Sugar

1/2 tsp salt

2 gm Baking Powder 

160 ml Milk

For Icing 

100 gm Chocolate

50 ml Milk  


Method 

1. Sieve the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder




2. Grease the baking dish with butter sheet and fat, keep it aside

3. Melt the butter and beat it with Powdered sugar and gradually pour the milk then mix it well




 4. Fold the batter with flour and cocoa powder mixture 

 5. Pour the batter into the greased tray 


 6. If you bake with oven follow @180℃  for 35 mins

                                    or

     Use the pressure cooker to bake it in dry heat with sand like this for 35 mins


7. Check it with kinfe, after that take it out from the oven or cooker. leave it for 10 mins then de-mould it, then remove the butter sheet.


8. Melt the dark chocolate with little milk, to make a chocolate sauce


9. Serve it plain or decorate with melted chocolate
