 Spicy Potato Puris 

Ingredients Used 

225 gm ( 3 nos ) Potatoes 

225 gm (2 cups )  Wheat flour 

1/2 tsp Cumin 

55 gm Onions  

1/4 bunch Coriander leaves 

1/2 tsp Garam Masala 

1/2 tsp Salt 

10 gm Oil to mix

250 ml  Oil for fry  

Method 

1. Boil, peel and mash potatoes 

2. Mix thoroughly with sieved flour, cumin, garam masala, chopped onion, coriander and salt 

3. Add fat and mix well to form a dough adding a little water if necessary 

4. Divide the dough into small balls and roll them out like ordinary puris

5. Heat oil, when smoking hot, deep fry the puris until golden brown on both sides 

6. Remove and drain on absorbent paper
