Rawa Kitchadi
1/2 kg White Rava (sooji)
100 ml oil
2 nos Cinnamon
3 nos Cardamon
1 Tbsp Ginger garlic paste
3 nos Green chillies
2 nos Onion
2 nos Tomatoes
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tbsp Chilli powder
1 tbsp Coriander powder
1/4 tbsp Turmeric powder
1 no Carrot
100 gm Beans
1 cup Greenpeas
few Mint leaves
1 Tbsp Ghee
Method
1 Roast the rawa in kadai with little oil
2. Heat the oil in kadai then roast cinnamon, cardamom,bay leaf and green chillies
3. After roast the chillies then add the ginger garlic paste then roast it till to reduce raw flavor
4. Add the onion to make it light brown colour
5. Add the chopped vegetables and salt then saute it well
6.After the vegetables are sauted well then add the tomatoes
7. Add the masalas like turmeric, chilli powder and coriander powder
8. Measure the water for rawa 1 cup = 2 1/2 cup
9. After water reach boiling point then add the rawa gradually, at the same time mix it continuously to make it dry
10. Finally add the mint leaves and ghee, then make it flavourful rawa kitchadi, serve it with coconut chutney
