Masala Dosa / மசால் தோசை - step by step procedures with pictures

 Masala Dosa

Portion : 4 person 

Ingredients 

Dosa batter 

1/2 kg Idly Rice 

125 gm  Black gram

1 tsp Fenu greek seeds 

Masal

1/4 kg Potatoes 

1 no Onion 

2 nos Greenchillies 

2 cm Ginger 

1 Spring Curry leaves 

1/2 tsp Mustard seeds

1/2 tsp Black Gram 

1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder 

Coriander leaves 


Method

1. Boil the potatoes till mashing consistency keep it aside. Heat the oil in kadai then add the mustard seeds, black gram roast it well.

 


2. Add the onion, curry leaves, greenchillies saute it well till light brown colour 

3.Add the turmeric powder after saute the onion, then add the mashed potatoes into it 

4. Mix it well, the potatoes must mix with all the ways 

5. Pour the batter into the tawa flat it like normal dosa, then  place the masal in the center of  dosa, fold it like triangle 

6. Serve it with two varieties of  chutneys or Sambar
