Kadai Egg Masal / Quail Egg Masal /காடை முட்டை மசால் - step by step procedure with pictures

 Kadai Egg 

          It is one of the tastiest egg Preparation. This preparation is made out in Quail egg. it is one of the tiny egg, the masalas are easily blend in this egg.This preparation is made out in chettinadu style

 

Ingredients Used 

20 nos Qauil egg

2 nos Onion 

3 nos Tomatoes 

2 spring Curry leaves 

1/2 tbsp curry powder 

1/2 tbsp chilli powder 

1/2 tbsp Coriander powder 

1/2 tbsp Pepper Powder 

 

Method 

1. Boil the quail egg with salt

 

2. Make the small holes in the boiled egg and keep it aside 

 3. Heat the oil in kadai then add the ginger garlic paste, roast it till reduce the raw flavor

 4. Add the sliced or chopped onion, saute it well

 5. Onion reach the light brown colour then add the chopped tomatoes and salt

 6. After the tomatoes turn into mashing consistency then add the masalas like curry powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and pepper powder

 7. Saute well of all the masalas then pour the 1/2 cup of water, to make it like semi gravy 

8. Finally add the eggs into the semi gravy, mix it all the way to mix with eggs




9. Serve it with chapatti or rice
