Mutton Kolha urundai / Chettinad Mutton kheema Balls / மட்டன் கோலா உருண்டை

     It is a chettinad style mutton khola urundai, it is very tasty traditional meat dish. It is served it as  a snack or with meal. It is also use to make the kohla urundai gravy.

Ingredients 

1/2 kg Boneless Mutton 

4 Greenchillies 

15 gm Ginger 

15 nos Garlic 

10 nos Shallots ( Small onion) 

30 gm ( 1/2 cup ) Roasted Gram 

1/4 Coconut

10 peppercorns 

1 tsp fennel 

4 nos cloves 

1 stick cinnamon 

 

Method 

1. De-bone the mutton and keep it aside 

2. Pre prepare the ingredients and ready for the preparation 

3.   Ground the ingredients in step by step  process. firstly grind cinnamon, cloves, pepper, and roasted gram then make it powder

4. Second step add the ginger, garlic and greenchillies into it to make paste 

 5.  Third step add the shallots to make the fine paste without adding the water

 6. Finally grind the mutton with the  salt and turmeric to make it as like a paste

 7. Make a even sized balls and keep it ready for fry

 8.Fry it in medium flame to make it as a golden color.
