Ingredients
1 tsp Mustard seeds
1 tbsp Bengal gram flour
500 gm Potatoes
2 nos Onion
10 gm ginger
4 nos greenchillies
3 nos Tomatoes
2 spring curry leaves
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Salt
Water ( for Consistency )
Coriander Leaves
Gram Flour ( Optional )
Method
1. Allow the potatoes to boil till the mashing consistency, after boil mash it and keep it aside.
2. Cut the following ingredients onion, ginger, greenchillies, tomatoes and keep it ready for the preparation
3. Heat the oil in kadai and add the mustard oil, Bengal gram, ginger, curry leaves and greenchilles and saute it well
4. After well saute the ingredients and then add the sliced onion and make it light brown colour, after that add the tomatoes, salt turmeric make it well saute mashing consistency.
5. Finally add the mashed potatoes into it, pour 1 cup of water to make a gravy consistency
6. It is suitable to serve with puris (pooris)
