Eggless Sponge / Without Egg Sponge / Eggless Sponge cake

 


Ingredients 

50 gm  Flour  (5 cup )

55 gm Butter  ( 1 cup)

50 ml Oil ( 1 cup )

130 gm Powdered sugar ( 2 cup )

1/2 tsp Salt

1 tsp  Baking powder

1 cap Vanilla essence or ( 1 tbsp Vanilla Powder )

120 ml Milk ( 2 cup )

Cardamom powder ( 5 nos )


Method 

1.     Scale all the ingredients by gram and ml or cup, make a sugar powder and keep it aside.


2.     Start whisking the butter and oil together to make a smooth texture with the slow addition of castor sugar till it is light and fluffy.

3. After the smooth texture gradually pour the milk and mix it well

 4. Gradually add the little by little refined flour ( Maida ) into the mixture to form a batter.

 4.     Prepare the baking dish for cake baking with parchment paper or normal white paper. grease them with fat.




    5. Mix the above mixture gently and pour them into lined ring moulds and bake them  at 175 ̊C till 45 min baked or bake it in pressure cooker
 


6.      Check it with knife, if once baked remove it from the oven or cooker, demould it and cool it on a wire rack.
