Layered cheese chappati - ( kids special - for Breakfast or Snack or Dinner )Step By Step Procedure with pictures

 

Ingredients 

1. Wheat Flour       -    1/2 kg 

2. salt                        1/2 tbsp 

3. water                  -    to mix

For Stuffing 

4. Onion                 -   2 nos 

5. Tomatoes            -   3 nos 

6. Chilli powder     -    1/2 tsp 

7. Cumin powder   -     1/2 tsp 

8. Egg                     -     4 nos 

9. salt                      -     to taste 

10. Pepper Powder -     1/2 tsp 

11. cheese               -     100 gm 

12. Oil                    -      30 ml 


Method 


  • Take the wheat flour , salt and water to make a soft dough and make it as like chappati, but you want cook half cooked chappati 
  • For stuffing pour the oil in kadai saute the onion till light brown colour then add the chopped tomatoes.
  • After saute well of onion tomato masala then you add the chilli powder, cumin powder, garam masala ( optional ) and salt, if the onion tomato masala is ready keep it aside 

  • Beat the egg with salt and pepper keep it aside 

  • Now you start the layering, heat the tawa for the preparation  
  • Dip the half cooked chappati into the egg mixture and arrange it as base 

  • Next add the onion tomato masala for one layer, then now you add the grated cheese on it 

  • Again start as same like previous procedure for 5 to 6 layers 

  • cook the layered chappati on both sides 

  • Now the tasty and healthy chappati is ready to serve, use the cutter to cut it 
  • Enjoy with your family
