It is a traditional preparation of tamilnadu cuisine ( chettinadu cuisine ) It is a spicy and tasty preparation with the blended masala of southindia.
Ingredients
1. Crab - 1/2 kg
2. Onion - 3 nos
3. Tomato - 3 nos
4. curry leaves - 2 springs
5. Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
6. Turmeric - 1/ 2 tsp
7. Chilli powder - 1/2 Tbsp
8. Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
9. Curry powder / mutton masala 1/2 tbsp
10 Salt - to taste
11. Coriander leaves - 1 spring ( chopped )
12. Pepper powder - 1 tsp
13. Oil - 50 ml
Methods
1. Pour the oil in kadai and fry the ginger garlic paste
2. Turn the flavor without raw flavor then add the chopped onion and curry leaves, roast it well.
3. After when the onion colour is changed then you add the chopped tomatoes into it
4. Add the salt for well saute at this time
5. After onion and tomato roasted well then now you add the masalas like turmeric, chilli powder, coriander powder, curry powder or any mutton masala then saute it well
6. Add the washed Crab and mix it well with the masala. Pour 1/2 cup of water if needed
7. close the vessel and cook it 10 mins. After 10 min check it and again leave it for 5 min, totally 15 min is needed to cook the crab.
8. Now ready to serve, garnish with coriander.
